How to setup NC Purchase Metrics in Meta / Facebook V2

  1. Go to Facebook Events Manager → click on Custom Conversions




  1. Then click Create custom conversion




  1. Follow these steps:
  • Fill in NC Purchase in the Name field, and pick ncPurchase in the Event field.
  • If you do not see the ncPurchase event, go to the Facebook Events Manager overview and verify this ncPurchase event before continuing. ​
  • In the Choose a standard event for optimization field, choose Purchase.
  • In Rules, choose URL, doesn’t contain and fill in doesnotexist or doesnotcontain in the form field.
  • Press “enter” after you fill in until you see your input becomes light grey.
  • Click Create. ​




  1. Click Share




  1. Select Share to an ad account that you already have access to which you'd like to give access to this Custom Conversion.




  1. Click Assign New Ad Accounts - Share this Custom Conversion with ad accounts.




  1. Click Select Ad Accounts and select accounts to give it access to the Custom Conversion New Customer Purchase.


Mark all the ad accounts you want to use this new Custom Conversion in.




  1. Click Share Custom Conversion




  1. The custom conversion is now created, time to show it in your Facebook Ads Manager. Navigate to Facebook Ads Manager.




  1. Click on Columns → Customize Columns



  1. In the Search tool, type in NC Purchase, choose Total and Cost to show total conversions and cost per NC Purchase. Then click Apply.





  1. To add NC-ROAS, we need to create a custom metric, click on + Create custom metric.




  1. Follow these steps:
  • Click the Select metric
  • In the search bar, type NC Purchase
  • Select NC Purchase Conversion Value
  • for Formula choose:* NC Purchase Conversion Value ÷ Amount spent.*
  • Name the custom metric as NC-ROAS
  • Set the Who can access this to Everyone with access to this Business (if you want to share the metric)







  1. Click Apply
