# High AOV Purchase Value: Track Premium Order Revenue

> Track high AOV purchase value on your Shopify store. Measure revenue from above-average orders to optimize campaigns for premium conversions.

<Tip>
  High AOV Purchase Value is the total monetary value of all purchase events that exceed your Shopify store's average order value threshold, tracked by the Upstack pixel.
</Tip>

## Formula

<Info>
  **High AOV Purchase Value** = **SUM** ( Purchase Value ) **WHERE** purchase\_type = high\_aov\_purchase
</Info>

### Formula Components

| Metric                                   | Definition                                                        |
| ---------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Purchase Value** | Monetary value of individual purchase events tracked by the pixel |
| **purchase\_type = high\_aov\_purchase** | Filters to purchases exceeding your store's AOV threshold         |

| Metadata        |                                                              |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Type**        | Currency                                                     |
| **Data Source** | [Upstack Pixel](/pixel), [Shopify](/sources/catalog/shopify) |
| **Aggregation** | Sum                                                          |

## Example

Your Shopify store tracked **\$44,424** in high AOV purchase value from **312 above-threshold orders** this month:

| Week | High AOV Value | High AOV Purchases | Avg Value |
| ------ | -------------- | ------------------ | --------- |
| Week 1 | \$11,360       | 80                 | \$142.00  |
| Week 2 | \$10,366       | 73                 | \$142.00  |
| Week 3 | \$11,786       | 83                 | \$142.00  |
| Week 4 | \$10,912       | 76                 | \$143.58  |

## How It Works

The Upstack pixel tracks every purchase event on your Shopify store and classifies it based on order value relative to your store's AOV baseline. High AOV Purchase Value sums the monetary value of all purchases that exceed this threshold, helping you quantify revenue from premium buyers and measure the impact of strategies designed to drive higher-value conversions.

## When to Use

| Scenario                           | Action                                                                               |
| ---------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Measuring premium customer revenue | Track total revenue from above-average orders to assess high-value customer impact |
| Evaluating product bundling ROI | Measure whether bundles increase total high AOV revenue, not just count |
| Assessing campaign profitability | Compare high AOV purchase value against ad spend for true ROI on premium conversions |
| Forecasting revenue segments | Project revenue from different customer value tiers for planning |
