# Events appear in an incognito window but not your browser

> Seeing events in incognito but not your normal browser? An ad blocker or privacy extension is blocking the pixel in your test browser only — real visitors are unaffected because Upstack tracks server-side.

**Quick test:** Open your store in an incognito/private window (no extensions), browse a product page, then check the **Live Event Stream** in your Upstack dashboard.

**If events appear there but not in your normal browser:** an ad blocker or privacy extension is interfering with your testing. Your real visitors are unaffected because Upstack uses server-side tracking for critical events — purchases reach Upstack via Shopify webhooks regardless of any browser extension.

**Fix:**

1. Disable your ad blocker or privacy extensions for your store's domain, or test in an incognito window.
2. Confirm events flow in the **Live Event Stream**.
3. Don't chase the missing client-side events in a blocked browser — they're expected to be absent there.
