Log in to Shopify → go to Sales channels

Navigate to Snapchat Ads → Settings

- Log in to Shopify → go to Sales channels
- Navigate to Snapchat Ads → Settings
- Select the Data sharing tab 
- Click on the "Disconnect" button

⚠️ Important: Disabling Snapchat Data Sharing is crucial to prevent duplicate events, which can distort reporting and attribution. It ensures Snapchat only receives clean, accurate data through Upstack Data for reliable insights and better ad optimization.

How to Disable Snapchat Data Sharing in Shopify

Log in to your <a href="https://admin.shopify.com/store/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Shopify Store</a>

From your Shopify admin homepage, click the Sales channels tab in the left-hand menu

Select "Snapchat Ads" → ensure that you are under the "Settings" tab

Note: You may also use the search function to locate the Snapchat sales channel

Navigate to the "Data sharing" tab

Go to the Pixel ID section then find your connected Snapchat Pixel

Click "Disconnect" to unlink it from Shopify

2. From your Shopify admin homepage, click the Sales channels tab in the left-hand menu
 
3. Select "Snapchat Ads" → ensure that you are under the "Settings" tab

4. Navigate to the "Data sharing" tab
 
5. Go to the Pixel ID section then find your connected Snapchat Pixel
 
6. Click "Disconnect" to unlink it from Shopify
