Log in to Shopify → Sales Channels tab
Navigate to TikTok Sales Channel → Settings
Go to Data sharing → click on the "Disconnect" button
Click "Disconnect" again in the Disconnect Pixel tracking popup
⚠️Important: Most causes of duplicate events occur because multiple TikTok Pixel integrations are active on your site. You must disable TikTok Sales Channel Data Sharing and ensure no other TikTok Ads pixel apps are installed.
Steps to Disable TikTok Data Sharing in Shopify
Step 1: Sign in to Shopify
Log in to your Shopify Store
Step 2: Access TikTok Settings
From your Shopify admin homepage, click the Sales channels tab in the left-hand menu
Select "TikTok" → then click the "Settings" tab
Note: You may also use the search function to locate the TikTok sales channel
Step 3: Disconnect Data Sharing
In your TikTok settings, open the Data sharing tab from the left-hand menu
Step 4: Apply Disconnect
Scroll to the Customer Data Sharing section and locate your connected TikTok Pixel
Click on the "Disconnect" button
Step 5: Disconnect Pixel Tracking
After clicking Disconnect, a confirmation window will appear
Review the information about how disconnecting your pixel may affect tracking
Click Disconnect again in the lower-right corner to confirm
