Prerequisites

Active Shopify store (
your-store.myshopify.com) - Shopify Admin access with permission to install apps
- A valid payment method on your Shopify account (required for the free trial)
- Access to the email inbox you’ll use for your Upstack Data account (a verification code is sent during sign-up)
Configuration steps
Find the Upstack Data app
Method 1: From Shopify Admin
- Sign in to your Shopify Admin.
- In the left sidebar, click Apps.
- Click Visit Shopify App Store.

Search for Upstack: Site Intelligence.

Click the Install button.
Method 2: Via direct link
- Open the Upstack Data app listing: https://apps.shopify.com/upstackified
Choose your subscription plan
- Review the available plans on the app page.

Click Start Free Trial under your chosen plan.
Create or sign in to your Upstack Data account
For new users — sign up
- Enter your preferred email address.

Click Continue.

Enter your name and a password, then click Create Account.

A verification code will be sent to your email. Copy the code, paste it into the field, then click Verify Code.
For existing users — sign in

Click “or if you already have an account, Sign In”.

Enter your email address and password, then click Login.
Verify the install
Once signed in, you should land on the Upstack dashboard onboarding screen. From here you can continue to:
- Enable the Theme App Extension
- Add the Upstack Custom Pixel to Shopify Admin → Settings → Customer events
- Configure your privacy settings
