Blended Cost Per Inline Link Click measures how much you pay on average for each click on a link inside your ad content. Meta is the only platform that reports inline link clicks, so only Meta spend counts.

Formula

Blended Cost Per Inline Link Click = Meta Spend ÷ Blended Inline Link Clicks

Formula Components

Example

Your campaigns ran on all three platforms this month: Blended Spend is $15,000. Dividing all of it by Meta’s 6,250 inline clicks would give $2.40, double the real cost. Counting only Meta spend gives $1.20.

How It Works

Upstack divides Meta spend by the inline link clicks Meta reports. Google Ads and TikTok don’t report inline link clicks, so their spend is left out. In the app the formula reads Meta Spend ÷ Inline Link Clicks. Inline clicks are clicks on links in ad text or creative, such as linked words, rather than the call-to-action button.
