Blended Cost Per Outbound Click measures how much you pay for each click that sends people off the ad platform to your website. Meta is the only platform that reports outbound clicks, so only Meta spend counts.

Formula

Blended Cost Per Outbound Click = Meta Spend ÷ Blended Outbound Clicks

Formula Components

Example

Your campaigns ran on Meta and Google Ads last month: Dividing Blended Spend ($5,000) by Meta’s 1,500 outbound clicks would give $3.33. Leaving Google spend out keeps the cost tied to the clicks it paid for.

How It Works

Upstack divides Meta spend by the outbound clicks Meta reports. Google Ads and TikTok don’t report outbound clicks, so their spend is left out. In the app the formula reads Meta Spend ÷ Outbound Clicks. Unlike CPC, which counts every click, this metric counts only clicks that send people to your site.
