Blended Cost Per Unique Click measures how much you pay for each distinct person who clicks your ads. Meta is the only platform that reports unique clicks, so only Meta spend counts.

Formula

Blended Cost Per Unique Click = Meta Spend ÷ Blended Unique Clicks

Formula Components

Example

Your brand ran ads on all three platforms in March: Blended Spend for the month is $9,450. Dividing all of it by Meta’s 7,000 unique clicks would give $1.35, charging Meta’s clickers for Google and TikTok budgets. Counting only Meta spend keeps the figure at $0.90.

How It Works

Upstack divides spend from Meta by the unique clicks Meta reports. Google Ads and TikTok don’t report unique clicks, so their spend is left out of the numerator. In the app the formula reads Meta Spend ÷ Unique Clicks. Unlike CPC, this metric counts each person once, so it shows the cost to reach a new engaged user rather than the cost of every repeat click.
