Blended Cost Per Reaction measures how much you spend on average for each reaction your ads receive. Meta is the only platform that reports reactions, so only Meta spend counts.

Formula

Blended Cost Per Reaction = Meta Spend ÷ Blended Reactions

Formula Components

Example

Your campaigns ran on all three platforms last month: Dividing Blended Spend ($9,600) by Meta’s 5,400 reactions would give $1.78. Counting only Meta spend gives the real $1.00.

How It Works

Upstack divides Meta spend by the reactions Meta reports. Google Ads and TikTok don’t report reactions, so their spend is left out. In the app the formula reads Meta Spend ÷ Reactions. Because Meta is the only source, this metric matches Meta spend ÷ Meta Reactions for the same filters.
