How It Works
Peak Intent Score tracks the high-water mark of purchase intent during a session. Even if a visitor’s intent drops (e.g., they remove items from cart), the peak captures how close they came to converting. This helps identify “almost buyers.”
When to Use
| Scenario | Action |
|---|
| High peak, low final intent | Investigate cart abandonment causes |
| Retargeting “almost buyers” | Target visitors with high peak scores |
| Checkout friction analysis | Compare peak vs. final at each step |
| Recovery campaign targeting | Focus on high-peak abandoners |
| Metric | Relationship |
|---|
| Intent Score | Current/final intent level |
| Session Score | Overall engagement |
| Avg. Funnel Stage | How far visitors progress |
