Formula
Blended Completed Registrations = Meta Completed Registrations + TikTok Completed Registrations
Google Ads doesn’t contribute. Upstack imports Google’s conversion totals but not a per-action registration count, so Google rows leave this column empty.
How it works
Each platform decides which registrations it credits to an ad, using its own attribution. Upstack imports that count with the rest of the daily performance data and sums it.
For Meta, Upstack requests results with a 7-day click, 1-day view window unless your Meta connection is configured with a different one. Upstack doesn’t request a specific window from TikTok. It imports the figures TikTok’s reporting API returns.
The count is of registration events as each platform reports them, not unique people.
Worked example
A meal-kit brand asks shoppers to create an account before choosing a plan. In March:
Blended Completed Registrations is 560 + 190 = 750. Blended Cost per Completed Registration counts only Meta and TikTok spend, so it comes out at about 25.33 per registration (19,000 ÷ 750). Google’s 9,000 is left out because Google reports no registrations.
How to interpret it
- Treat it as “registrations Meta and TikTok claim.” Both platforms can credit the same person if they saw ads on both, so the blend can exceed the registrations your site actually recorded.
- Compare it with your own count. Upstack’s Complete Registration metric counts the event from the Upstack Pixel. A blended total well above it points to overlapping platform credit.
- The cost metric matches this count. Blended Cost per Completed Registration divides only Meta and TikTok spend by this count, so Google spend doesn’t raise it.
Why it can differ from Meta and TikTok’s own reports
- If you view Meta results in Ads Manager with a different attribution setting than the one your Upstack connection requests, the counts differ.
- TikTok contributes its website
user_registrationfield only. - Upstack only includes connected ad accounts.
FAQ
Why doesn't Google Ads show completed registrations?
Why doesn't Google Ads show completed registrations?
Upstack doesn’t import a per-action registration count from Google Ads. Google’s registration conversions, if you track them, are inside Google All Conversions instead.
Is a completed registration the same as a lead?
Is a completed registration the same as a lead?
No. Meta and TikTok report leads and registrations as separate events, and Upstack keeps them in separate columns. See Blended Leads for lead counts.
Why is the blended number higher than registrations in my database?
Why is the blended number higher than registrations in my database?
Each platform counts registrations it can attribute to its own ads. A person who clicked a Meta ad and later a TikTok ad can be credited by both.
