Blended Cost per View Content measures how much you spend to generate one content view event. Meta and TikTok are the platforms that report content views, so only their spend counts.

Formula

Blended Cost per View Content = ( Meta Spend + TikTok Spend ) ÷ Blended View Contents

Formula Components

Example

Your store ran ads on all three platforms last month: Dividing Blended Spend ($5,000) by the same 10,000 views would give $0.50, because Google’s budget would be charged to views it didn’t report.

How It Works

Upstack adds Meta and TikTok spend and divides by the content views those two platforms report. Google Ads doesn’t report view content events, so its spend is left out. In the app the formula reads Meta + TikTok Spend ÷ View Contents. If you run Google Ads, this metric won’t equal Blended Spend ÷ Blended View Contents.
