Funnelish hosts your funnel pages outside your Shopify theme, so the Upstack app embed doesn’t run on them. Add the Upstack Pixel to each funnel. This page covers only what’s specific to Funnelish. The pixel snippet, event tracking, UTM handling, and verification steps are in the main guide: Implementing Upstack Data on Landing Pages, Subdomains, and Third-Party Sites.

Step 1: Add the Upstack Pixel in Funnelish

Copy the base pixel snippet with your Pixel ID from Step 2 of the main guide, then in Funnelish:
  1. Open your funnel and go to Settings → Custom Codes → Tracking Codes.
  2. Click Create a new code and name it Upstack.
  3. Paste the snippet.
  4. Under Code placement, select Append To Page Head, then save.
  5. Repeat for each funnel you run.
Don’t choose Append To Page Body. Funnelish lazy-loads body codes for speed, so the pixel can load too late to record visitors who leave quickly.

Step 2: Remove Funnelish’s Own Meta Pixel

If Meta is connected as an Upstack destination, remove the Meta (Facebook) pixel from your Funnelish funnel settings. Otherwise Meta receives the same events from both Funnelish and Upstack. It’s the same reason to disable Shopify’s Facebook & Instagram data sharing.

Step 3: Keep Click IDs on the Way to Checkout

If your funnel links to your Shopify store or checkout, add the script from Step 4: Preserve UTM Parameters Across Pages so fbclid, gclid, ttclid, and UTM parameters reach checkout.

Step 4: Verify the Installation

Follow Step 5: Verify Your Installation on your funnel’s live URL.

Funnelish Orders in Upstack

When Funnelish creates your funnel’s orders in Shopify, Upstack receives them like any other Shopify order. In Upstack reports that filter by order source, these orders appear as Funnelish.
