The “Not paired with product catalog” error typically occurs when there is a mismatch between the product IDs in your Meta product catalog and the product IDs being sent through your tracking pixel. This can happen if you’ve made changes to your product catalog or if your pixel implementation is incomplete.

Steps to fix this error

1. Check your product catalog

Make sure all of the product IDs in your catalog match the product IDs (content_ids) your pixel sends. If there are discrepancies, update your catalog accordingly.

2. Check your pixel implementation

Verify that your pixel is implemented correctly on your store and sending the correct product IDs. You can confirm what’s firing with Meta Pixel Helper — see how to troubleshoot your pixel.

3. Re-pair your pixel with the catalog

If you’ve changed your catalog or pixel implementation, re-pair them:
  1. Go to your Meta Business Manager account.
  2. Navigate to the Product Catalogs section (Commerce Manager).
  3. Select the appropriate product catalog.
  4. Open Settings.
  5. Under the Data Sources tab, click Add Data Source.
  6. Select Facebook Pixel and follow the prompts to re-pair your pixel with the catalog.

4. Wait for updates

It may take some time for your catalog and pixel to sync. Wait a few hours and check back to see if the error has cleared.
