Cart to Purchase Rate isn’t one of Upstack’s built-in measures. You can create it as a custom measure from two built-in ones, Purchases and Add to Carts. Creating custom measures needs the admin or owner role.

Formula

Cart to Purchase Rate = ( Purchases ÷ Add to Carts ) × 100

Build it as a custom measure

In a custom dashboard, open Custom Measures, set the format to Percentage and the period total to Average, then enter:
The * 100 matters. The Percentage format adds a % sign to the number as it is, so without it a 25% rate shows as 0.25%. Average makes Upstack divide the period totals, instead of adding up a ratio for each day.

What it counts

Both sides are Upstack Pixel events. Purchases counts purchase events and Add to Carts counts add_to_cart events, so a shopper who adds three items and buys once adds 3 to the denominator and 1 to the numerator. Read the result as purchases per 100 add-to-cart events, not the share of shoppers who bought.

Worked example

Add to carts rose in week 2 but purchases fell. Check Initiate Checkout Rate and Initiate Checkout to Purchase Rate to see whether shoppers dropped before checkout or during it.
