How It Works

Upstack tracks checkout initiations when visitors load your Shopify checkout page and purchases when orders complete. The IC to Purchase Rate divides purchases by initiated checkouts, expressed as a percentage. Low rates often indicate checkout friction—payment issues, shipping cost surprises, or lengthy checkout forms.
